In keeping with the grandeur of the property the dining room features handcrafted furniture. The menu changes daily to allow guests to experience a wide variety of traditional Sri Lankan dishes as well as some continental fare. In addition to breakfast and lunch, a sit-down, table service 5 course dinner is served every day. You may choose to dine in the dining room, the garden by the pool or on the verandah. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements and we will do our best to accommodate you.

UPSTAIRS LIVING AREA

At the top of the staircase you enter into the upstairs living area. It is a high-ceilinged, wooden-framed area that is a nice, quiet place to read a book. There is a small collection of books about the Kandy Region, Sri Lankan history and culture. There is a small gift shop located in the space above the upstairs living area where some handicrafts and paintings can be purchased. The living room is between the two Deluxe Suites and leads to the upstairs verandah. Enjoy the open, airy feeling and the cool breeze.

COURTYARD

On the ground floor there is a small open-air courtyard surrounded by the walkways leading to some of the standard rooms. The trickle of water from the water fountain is very soothing and it is a favorite spot for some to enjoy breakfast or a cup of tea.

GARDEN

Enjoy the lush green surroundings by relaxing in the well maintained garden. You may also enjoy any of your meals outdoors.

BILLIARDS ROOM

Off the courtyard, there is a room with a full-size Billiards table for your enjoyment. There is also a small table on which you can play cards or board games, which we can provide.

SWIMMING POOL

Some people tend to call it the 'Water in Paradise'. They are not mistaken. Enjoy yourself with a splash of water and a refreshingly cold breeze.
